Liverpool
On a fine sunny day, I don't think there is a more photogenic City Centre location than the Liverpool Waterfront. We went there today, mainly to ride on the big wheel, the Manchester version having been closed when we tried on Tuesday. There were some spectacular views from the wheel especially of the shadows far below.
One aspect of the wheel amused me: the succinct instructions on what not to do.
After four laps in the wheel we walked through Albert Dock, which has definite possibilities, to visit the Museum of Liverpool and this blip is its magnificent central stairwell. It was my first visit to the Museum, which opened only three years ago. I liked the views from the large windows and its massive, well-presented collection of historic objects. There was time for a distant selfie.
