Scones Have Feelings Too.

This is not just any old scone, this is an M&S fruit scone, and one with a sad face, no doubt knowing that for the first time in as long as I can remember, I had come out without my camera and might not do its good looks justice with my Iphone.

On the stringent scone rating system I have been conducting for a few months, this scone lies second in the overall awards, only being beaten by the newly baked scones at Whitmuir Organic Farm, although Poppy's scone in Orkney with homemade strawberry jam and cream is a serious contender.

Having consumed this amount of calories so early in the day, there is now a 'nil by mouth' order that has to be observed until supper, lest my sad faced scone has the last laugh and reincarnates itself on my thighs.
