Weary

There was a certain feeling today of summer having peaked, although it was hard to know what it was that particularly gave that impression.

The nights are certainly conspicuously drawing in, but it seemed that the air had a different quality this morning as we walked at Lamancha.
The trees were beginning to look less vibrant with some leaves definitely changing colour and the countryside side was looking just that bit weary. Certainly these flowers have seen better days.

I've no doubt some number cruncher will soon come up with how many shopping days are left until Christmas........
