This is a book of crossword puzzles that my teacher gave me for my birthday.

She's a firm believer in growing vocabularly and synonyms are a good way to do that. And I do quite like a crossword puzzle.

An interesting day stuck deep in assembler macros and trying to figure out what was wrong. After 8 hours, a small idea hatched in my head and I had the problem cracked. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's blimmen great.

It started to rain about 3 thiss afternoon and at nearly 8 it hasn't stopped. That made the decision to go to work without a jacket a slightly foolish one. And given that we had our once a year rain with strong wind, quite a damp one too.
