Ponies At The Show

A showery morning soon dried up and been sunny spells this afternoon, warm too :)

With the Cunningsburgh Agricultural Show on today, work at the museum has been fairly quiet, a few busy spells over lunchtime. I had a Hands On History talk today in the galleries too but not a big turn out with the quiet day, it was about fishing.
Working later in the pub tonight but first off to see my sister and family and her friends, going to get a Indian takeaway for tea and a good blether :)

Lunchtime I nipped down to Cunningsburgh to have a look about the local show. I thought I could rush around quickly snapping photos and then disappear again but no such luck, I kept bumping into folk I know and chatting and my time allocated was soon swallowed up. I did manage to get around most of the animal pens and caught these Shetland ponies heading out on parade for judging.
