Twenty three

Finally got round this way again to take this, the twenty third in my consecutive number series :)

My day for a haircut. Only happens about once every 2 months and I take full advantage of the time to myself by taking a book along to read and ignoring my phone.

Today's book was Carry on, warrior by Glennon Melton. It's about "the real truth about being a woman" and I found it very engaging. I was laughing out loud as I read, so the hairdresser kept checking to see if I was laughing at the book or at her. Even though it's funny, it's so profound too and I had goosebumps in places as the words spoke directly to me...

I would recommend it to all the women I know.
