Every picture tells a story

Ever since I sat with David, the deaf teacher working with the deaf children at Kitazigurukwa School - and saw his disappointment as he marked the RE tests that the children had performed poorly in - I have been thinking how much better it would be if those children could see a Bible with pictures.
So when one of the volunteers on this team produced this beautiful Bible, there was no question about who we should give it to.
David was delighted!
But the rather poignant element to this story is that the volunteer found it in a rubbish skip in the UK. A precious pearl cast aside.
