Sunday - and the grubby, dusty workforce do a "Cinderella" act, scrub up and dig out their last remaining clean clothes to be off to the Cathedral in Rukungiri. It was a very different experience from our last Sunday with Team 2!
Unexpectedly, our team of 19 almost outnumbered the rest of the congregation as most of the members had gone with their clergy to a rural church nearby as it is Mission Sunday. However, we enjoyed the Anglican based service in English, with traditional hymns that we knew like "Stand up, Stand up for Jesus" and the opera singer who is on our team this time sang Amazing Grace with 5 of us making up the chorus for "My chains fell off..." which was well received.
A bit of dancing tonight with the Mpororo dancers before back to work tomorrow.
