a hummer imposter...

at least - that's what i thought at 1st - upon 2nd glance - i thought "nope" - that's no hummer...

"what is that?" does anybody know?

it was flying about the flowers - feeding off of them - like a butterfly would - it's wings going - a mile a minute - it barely slowed down - so it was really difficult - to get a shot in focus - which is why i thought - it was a hummer - due to how quickly it was moving

i saw several butterflies today - could've posted them - but in keeping with my quest - for unusual things - to have in my journal - this little critter - fit the bill for the day - plus - i believe his/her markings - are simply gorgeous - another one of those miracles of creation - when you find something - where colors are put together - which compliment each other - and you find your gaze - lingering "just because" - those are the kinds of moments - which clearly make for...
