Pink lily pads

A lovely pond scene on a very very hot Seattle day! Did an early swim and nice park walk....then an afternoon cooling off at the movies . Saw Boyhood and it was excellent. Using the same characters over a time span and you could watch each character change physically and emotionally and their growth. It was very realistic and had many poignant moments ....showing families in all their realistic states from dysfunctional to overcoming those dysfunctions....showing how individuals reacted to their challenges as normal people do. Some turn to abuse and drugs and others overcome situations and move on...showing that love parents have for their kids, despite their shortcomings, can mean a lot in how a child turns out and that the foundation of a loving support system from people involved in your lives can really carry you onward. I highly recommend it!
