All systems go

Thick mist this morning which didn't burn off till lunch time. Had to calve another heifer first thing,but calf was dead so need to get one from one of the local dairy farms to" twin on". Contractor back to finish cutting winter barley and I managed to bale up yesterdays straw. 110 5ft bales off 16 acres and 48 tons of barley,so not a bad crop for our kind of ground.Quick stop off at chippie on way home for a local Scottish delicacy- Deep fried pizza supper. (Heart attack imminent)
