Toad of toad hall

Contractor in to start cutting winter barley this afternoon. This is the earliest I can remember starting for a long time. Noticed the collie sniffing something in the stubble,and found this fine fellow. A very lucky toad not to get chopped up or run over. Chucked him in the burn and he was quite happy.
