Summer scene

Another hectic day. Seem to have spent all day driving. Hauled out more weaned calves to fields then off with the baler to bale some of yesterdays straw,then back home to bale 25 acres of hay,then back to bale rest of straw,then off to Newtongrange to make a start on the straw there in the dark. Only baled what I can cart home tomorrow because it is in ' bandit country' where the kids either burn the bales or burst them. Usually know the straw is dry enough to bale when you see the smoke rising !
Like these trees on top of the hill,and you can tell which direction the prevailing wind blows from by the branches.
