Again
Yesterday I showed a view of the spare gasturbine compressor.
Today again, this time from a different angle.
The compressor consists of several rows of blades, put on a shaft that rotates at 3000 revs. per minute.
At the same shaft is the powerturbine that uses the compressed air, supplied by the compressor.
The industrial gasturbine is similar to a jet engine, just a lot heavier and larger.
