Lillies

Wanted to blip our garden lilies before the petals drop, and the rain comes!

They remind me of a song by Lonnie Donegan. Now that's showing my age as many of you will be saying " Who?"

He used to sing a song called " My Old Man's A Dustman"
One of the lines in the song, which always makes me laugh How sad am I!

I say, I say, I say
My dustbin's full of lillies
( Well throw 'em away then)
I can't Lilly's wearing them!
