Life through the lens...

Ouch!

As usual on our day out at Harlow Carr there were so many blip opportunities that it was difficult deciding which one to chose. Best Viewed LARGE

However I decided on this bee and the very prickly Sea Holly ( Eryngium)
One reason being I love the colour, and texture of this plant.
The bees loved it! There were more on this than any other plant in the gardens.
It needs full sun, which we haven't got in our garden, but I think I might buy a plant, and give it go.
The other reason was I liked the lighting.

I have put some of my other photos on blipfolio. SEE HERE
I wonder which you like best?

There were a group of people with cameras and sound equipment, filming in part of the garden.
I was told they were from the BBC but no one knew what programme they were filming for.

Another warm day, with sunny intervals.

We had a wonderful trip on the barge yesterday evening.
The weather stayed fine.
Wines were good.
Food excellent.
Great company.
All in all a enjoyable time had by everyone!
