Oregon Lavender Festival

This weekend is the Oregon Lavender Festival, we enjoyed it so much last year we decided to go again. It was great, a real tonic after a rough week for both of us. At the first farm, Mountainside Lavender in Hillsboro, we parked in a field that was just full of crickets jumping everywhere, one of them got caught inside the leg of my pants - a rather odd sensation! We sat on a hay bale and had some food and enjoyed the scenery. The second place - pictured, with Mount Hood on the horizon - was in Clackamas County, amazing views and acres and acres of lavender.
