Lighted Ribbons

My friend Kristine came back from a cruise to Alaska this evening. She flew into the Albuquerque airport, so Caro and I went down to pick her up. I have always liked the Albuquerque airport - clean uncluttered and very southwest.

These are huge metal ribbons running alongside the road, and they have lighting that changes color and moves along the ribbons, It was right on twilight - perfect timing.

Thank you so much to all who made such lovely comments yesterday on my 'Little Opening in the Heavens' blip yesterday on the death of my dearly loved step dad. It's so hard to be so far away at times like these.
