A Little Opening in the Heavens

Today my step father Theo left this earth returning home to the great unknown. While we had known for a while that his time was almost over, it still comes as a shock when it happens.

I had a deep fondness and respect for this man who loved and married my mother only 5 short years ago. You were her rock and such a treasure in her life.

I went out to New Zealand from the USA where I live, in September last year, for their 90th birthdays. A great celebration. And now 9 short months later he has gone.

Thank you Theo for your wonderful, kind, generous spirit you shared with us all in your time on earth. You certainly graced my life and I will remember fondly all those delicious dinners you cooked and your ever ready willingness to come join our outings and family affairs. You will be sadly missed but your life will be joyfully celebrated !!!
