Highland Glen summer afternoon

Looking east to the jaws of Glen Lyon from Camusvreckan. Had planned a serious cycle ride over the high and often steep pass between Glen Lyon and Loch Tay, but a fortunate 'mechanical' on the bike changed it into a most beautiful afternoon photo exploration of one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland.

Decided to check out one or two possible views for photographs. Would have liked to add a river scene which required a hairy descent deep down in the gorge. But Blipfoto rules insist on only one Blip per day. Pity.

The cycle ride still threatens, but home tomorrow... Reprieved until next year!
