Magic Mountain?

Schiehallion in Perthshire is understood to mean 'Fairy Hill of the Caledonians'. I can confirm that there are good views from the top, but now I am limited to viewing more or less from the roadside, as today.

The lighting is difficult, so I took three exposures, with the tripod standing on the pebble beach of Loch Rannoch, and when home will attempt an HDR merging of the three. Even so I will not end up with the picture I would like. That will depend on being in the right place, at the right time, with the right weather... Another time...

For today, it was progress and practice, but not yet magic!
