BUBBLES the CRICKET
It just poured from 4 a.m. until just after noon today. I hurried out during a break in the rain hoping to spot a blip opportunity and found this bright green cricket walking around on my geraniums. Interesting tiny wings on his back – they don’t appear large enough to serve any purpose. (Crickets and Katydids have thread-like antennae as long or longer than their bodies, while Grasshoppers and Locusts have thick antennae much shorter than their bodies.)
Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful comments on my 365th Blip. It was fun hearing from so many!
