A SPECIAL CELEBRATION!

Hmmm… what to do to commemorate my 365th blip??? I have to give my daughter credit for thinking up this idea. It seems perfect for me since squirrels are my ‘go to’ blip when everything else fails. As for the squirrels… they would be happy to celebrate every blip if I would line up this many peanuts for them - they were in heaven!!

I would have celebrated back in April if a little hitch hadn’t come along, but I got back on the Blip wagon in late May when I captured a squirrel peeking out of a hole in a tree. It was just too rare to pass on that blip opportunity! I’m so glad to finally make it to 365 as there definitely was a time when I seriously doubted I would.

Thank you all for your wonderfully kind comments as I learn more about improving my photography skills. I have absolutely loved learning so much about insects, birds and animals due to the curiosity that blipping inspires. Even if we never meet, it’s great fun to ‘get to know’ so many fellow blippers.

(This little gal is still wet from a thunderstorm we had during the night. Obviously she doesn’t have very good shelter in her nest. I’m sure she was plenty happy to have a huge peanut buffet start her day!)
