SNEEZIN' SEASON

With all this pollen on the anther of these bright Tiger Lilies, I'd think the bees and butterflies would be quite excited about these flowers. However, I haven't seen a bug of any kind enjoying them yet.

Today, while looking for something interesting to blip, I went to an abandoned grade school in our neighborhood. I was so happy to find a few robins and a pair of American Goldfinch there, but my one opportunity for a shot of the Goldfinch was less than clear, so I've posted it on Flickr. (Since a pair of Merlin Hawks took up residence in our woods, all the small animals have known enough to stay away. Finding this pair of birds was so unusual that I just had to post it even if it didn't quite make it to Blip.)
