.. or "small house is a colloquial welsh term for "toilet", so it's kind of ironic that the smallest house on Britain hasn't got one - apart from the jug and bowl in shot (front door's 20 yds to the harbour wall!). This is the top floor pretty much in it's entirety. The ground floor has a bench and a small range/fireplace for cooking. It was declared unsuitable for human habitation in 1900, so the 6ft 3" fisherman that lived here was evicted and the owner went around the UK measuring all the little houses so his claim was valid and it's been a tourist attraction ever since. I could have probably lived happily without entering it's 4 diminutive walls, but Erin reeallyy wanted to see it, so I forked out 30 bob and waited for the 4-strong mob to clear the place. Glad I saw it though. I feel like it's an important tick for some reason. So many tourist attractions are remnants of wealth and privilege (we'd just been round King edward's fortress (now a big stone bird house), Conwy Castle), that it's nice to see how ordinary folk like us lived in the olden days..
We finished the day with a poke of chips on Llandudno prom and a wander along the pier ... priceless :-)
