Perranporth

We met some old friends Sara and Dave for a picnic on Perranporth beach today. 6 years since we were last down here and saw them. Sara did us proud with loads of local produce in a big picnic hamper and we risked sinking in the waves after. They stayed in a B&B next to our chalet park and joined us for dinner and lots of beer tonight. It was great to see them.

Big cheer came out of the beachside bar when Andy Murray did the business!! I haven't got the patience to sit through a tennis match, but love to see him doing so well.

This shot was taken on my waterproof film camera (£5 ebay bargain)- first film I've processed in years. Well done ASDA, will use you again, and the camera takes great pictures - more of these to come. Taken on Kodak Gold 200 - 79 pence from tescos. Who says film photography's too expensive
