Tre Llech

Blaenau Ffestiniog has changed a bit in the last 18 years since I moved up north. Not only does it have what is probably the worlds only enormous multi-level underground trampoline, the town centre's tidied itself up. I have an enduring memory of a rainy day on the main street watching 2 sheep walk past woolworths. Now woolworths has gone, no sheep in sight and a very smart town square with slate sculpture.

Me and Corrie took the steam train along the Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadoc while Erin went back to "Bounce Below", this time with her mum. Poor Corrie had to miss out as they don't allow anyone with special needs. I can understand why, but with an extra half hour to acclimatise to its utter weirdness, I think he'd have a ball. Never mind .. he loved the train ride and so did I. The train went right past my old cottage - looking a bit tatty these days, but thankfully not my problem anymore!
