Allergies and Firecrackers

Poor Woody. His allergies flared up like they always do this time of year, and he scratched his eye raw before his cortisone shot could take effect. Then to his and Frank's dismay, the fireworks started and haven't let up for the past few hours. Here he is, resigned to his most miserable day of each year. I'm going to have to put off doing much of anything tonight, including blipfoto, and spend the evening with these poor scared dogs, who are both wearing their thunder shirts to help calm them. Roxy, the cats, and the turtle, on the other hand, are just fine~ Happy 4th!

Here's a short video of a dog with the Thundershirt on. Frank and Woody get theirs for fireworks, and Woody gets his sometimes when he gets overly anxious. They love them, and it works like a charm if you don't overuse it.
It does work!
