Sparrow in the Cattail

The birds seemed less skittish today, probably because the bustle of students passing the pond won't commence in earnest until Monday. Our small 'backyard wildlife sanctuary,' as it is called on campus, was teeming with robins, barn tail swallows, sparrows, hummingbirds, ducks, blackbirds, crows, at least one croaking frog, and a very cute bunny. Hope everyone celebrating the 4th has a good, long weekend!
