breakfast was extraordinary. the peoples of europe fought for bread rolls, croissants and horrible nescafe in the 'chuck wagon cafe' (..yes...). we sneaked out cheese and ham rolls that we made surreptiously for lunch to avoid the crippling cost of mr disney's fast food outlets. hurrah! a victory against the system. errr...

carpetbiter1 decided that it might be a good idea to be scared again. this did not seem a good plan to me. it was interesting how carpetbiter2 began to think he might be scared too despite the fact that he'd done the same ride yesterday. i dragged cb1 through the buzz lightyear queue as she wept but by the end of the ride the hysteria had abated and she was beginning to enjoy herself. i think. i will no doubt pay for that in therapy or general backlash at some later date. but the prospect of taking a kid to disney for their holiday and them refusing to go on any rides was just too much for me.

we did dumbo again and whirling tea cups and peter pan and watched a lion king show and went on 'it's a small world' for the second time and generally had a great time. went back to the hotel for a rest then back out again in the dusk for the 9-11 extra magic hours night shift for more tea cups, dumbos and carosels.

the highlight was the total 100% kitchtastic glory of the parade with music pumping and hoards of people pushing each other out of the way to get a good spot and all the characters you could possibly imagine. cb1 stood stunned. cb2 became totally feral and bolted behind the bin when it all got too much, especially when there was a float of the baddies. because of his general bumptiousness it is hard to remember that he has certain things that he's very very scared of. ursula and the wicked witch are pretty near the top of the list.
