Party day

We started the day with a birthday breakfast for Grandma giving her some early birthday presents.

Dexter had his end of year party today. They went on a short bus ride singing songs (his teacher told me that she was very impressed with his ability to remember all the words to the songs as he sang his little heart out, bless him). Then they had a party in the classroom and I managed to get there for the last 10 minutes where they presented me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for being one of the volunteers throughout the year.

We were all sad when we returned home as Grandma and Granddad had left but we had such a lovely time and it won't be long until we see them again!
