A long day

Olivia enjoyed a very successful trip to the zoo (despite lots of tears beforehand because I couldn't be one of the parent volunteers - talk about making me feel guilty because I have to work).

Dexter enjoyed a trip to the big playground with his little pals from the creche where they all enjoyed a picnic.

I had a really rubbish day at work due to a run in with an unprofessional colleague, who has since apologised, but I still feel mad.

We had a friend and her daughter over for tea after work as they are leaving for the summer on Saturday which was actually lovely. At least it was until the tantrums kicked in as Dexter wanted to join in the fun but kept breaking their 'tent' and then Z didn't want to leave and kicked off making her Mum very embarrassed.

Sometimes I feel very sorry for our neighbours.
