Village Gardens

Most of the gardens along the village are beautifully planted up and full of flowers just now. Wish I could describe the scent of this rose, it's an absolute beauty!

The huge cordylines are flowering well and once again the silly collared doves are trying to nest in them. They are really pathetic nest builders and every year you find their eggs on the ground below them! They obviously have more success elsewhere because their numbers are steadily growing!

Lovely visit this morning from Houseonahill6 and her husband! Always nice to meet another blipper, especially one who is so taken with Orkney that this is their second visit.
