Silage Fields

Spent the morning in the garden and put as many plants as I could out of the greenhouse so there will be less for Mike to water while I'm away. Also got the grass cut and the edges tidied. Looks a lot more respectable!

Turned out to be a beautiful day, hot and sunny, a day for clambering around on the beach, looking for shells and examining rock pools. Ollie had a nice cooling dip and then rolled in the sand to maximise the experience!

J & Scratch came round and we gathered a bucketful of elderflowers for her to make some cordial. Definitely summer, especially with the smell of freshly cut grass everywhere . . . !
