Six Spot

Arriving up in Seahouses in Northumberland we got out on the dunes to stretch our legs after a long drive. Not a great deal there until a lady spotted this little chap. A six spotted burnet moth - so colourful but it kept in the shade unfortunately!

However we were jostling for position as she also wanted to get this shot here. Her camera had run out of battery and she was waiting for her friend to get her another but she didn't want to give up her place on the sand dune! With a winning smile I managed to squeeze next to her but she was not a happy bunny but she too also got the shot!

Off for a drink and something to eat - I'm starving!!
