Clean Sweep.....

.....the hitherto perennial table propping 11th Leith swept the board at the Leith District Scouts Badminton and Table Tennis competition at Stewart's Melville College this evening. In fact, I was amazed to find we had three kids from four in each of the semi-finals; remarkable. We're usually there to make up the numbers, but seem to have stumbled upon a rich seam of talent in the last year.

The trophy budget has suffered a severe cut-back this year.

Unfortunately, we are dealing with an accusation of bullying between Scouts, which I think is founded. Regrettable, but it has to be dealt with fairly but firmly.

Got me old pegs up now and settling down for a spot of Have I Got News for You and a ginger beer. Have a good weekend folks.
