Gooseberry and Elderflower icecream
As full time carer for my mum, my dad receives two visits a week from Crossroads providing respite care. He generally asks them to cook something for him and mum to enjoy during the week. Their current Crossroads lady, Jo, does not profess to be an experienced cook but happily has a go at whatever he asks. I would have liked to have seen her face when she was presented with a big bag of elderflowers, a bowl of gooseberries and a request for icecream!!!
Dad and Jo tackled the job together and apparently the end result was delicious. Well done to both of them!
