Beach Garden

Today was a hot one. It is starting to feel more like summer all of a sudden. I’m not complaining. I love the summer. Providing I’m in the pool or the ocean. I drove to the beach to walk the boardwalk for a couple of miles and I felt the difference walking in the heat vs. walking last week in the cooler weather. Of course there were women and men much older than myself who were speed walking right past me like it was nothing. I plopped myself on one of the benches along the boardwalk when I was done with my walk. I drank my water bottle and relaxed a little before getting up. I definitely have to do more walking.
All along the oceanfront are spectacular houses. I passed one today that had a nice garden along their bright white fence. I chose this veronica plant with its purple spikes for my blip. I like the way the plant looked with the white fence and blue sky.
Whenever I walk along this stretch of boardwalk I always imagine what it must be like to live in one of these big houses that face the ocean, I always thought I’d love living at the beach and be able to walk right out onto the sand and sit with my beach chair looking out at the waves. It would be so peaceful and such a great stress reliever. The next time I’m there maybe I’ll blip one of the houses. They really are grand.
