Constantly changing

The weather of 2012 was definitely one for the record books. There were predictions that this year would be a bit crazy also in terms of the weather and so far it's proving to be true. We have recently had the heaviest rainfall in the last 50 years in the northeast.
On any given day lately you'll be outside with blue skies and sunshine and it quickly turns into a fast moving storm.
I took this photo this afternoon from my backyard. It had been warm and muggy just minutes before these clouds started rolling in. My son and grandson were in the pool when I got a weather alert on my phone. Suddenly I hear a rumble of thunder in the distance. Within 15 minutes it's pouring. Then, as if it never happened, the sun is out once again. This would be fine if it happened once a day. However it keeps happening multiple times a day making any outdoor plans a little difficult.
My sister had brought her daughter and a friend over for a swim today just as the sky started to look a bit questionable again. It rained pretty hard but they decided to swim anyway. I was inside cleaning and just as I finished up and was ready to join them outside I saw everyone running out of the pool. Then I heard the thunder again!
These types of changes are a sign of what the world has to look forward to as our climate makes changes into unfamiliar territory.
