Black & White

I have heard it said that with photos "in colour you see the photograph, in black and white you see the soul". This is one of those shots. I have it in glorious full colour, bright pinks with touches of red, an explosion of cheerful and bright. But as soon as its converted to black and white, her eyes become the big feature and melt my heart.

She was in the studio this morning to do some shots of her second playsuit that I made, ready to send to the pattern designer. Katie is really pleased with it, and has added tights and a tshirt so she can wear it to preschool. She made her own breakfast this morning. A marmite and cucumber sandwich. She ate it all and said it was very yummy.

We are hoping to go swimming today but the cold, grey drizzle also makes the prospect of a snuggly afternoon at home quite appealing!
