Lake Windermere

The day of the great north swim today! My best friend did the 1 mile swim and then my husband did the 2 mile swim. He beat his time from last year and did the 2 miles in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Was great waiting at the finish line and cheering everyone on!

Afterwards we went for a walk back along the lake side towards Ambleside and I took this pic of the boats in the Lake. We then had a lovely lunch outside by the Lake before heading home.
Again, all my photos look dark and cloudy but it was actually really warm- if only you could feel the temperature with a photo! :)
