+2c in the night, only...

Sleeping in the tent in this peculiar summer was a adventure really! Me and my son had a proper air filled matress and warm sleeping bags (warm enough to -26c) - but still the weather felt cool and our noses a bit cold as the temperature was only +2c for few hours at night.

The woodpecker babies in the near birch were asleep for 4 hours during the coldest time throughout the light night: This is the lightest time of the year, there is not at all dark in the night, you could even take photos in any time of the day or night now... Only this low temperatures are not normal in this time of the year.

The day has been warm, however, despite of the cold night. Spent almost all day on the pier, watching divers , boats and birds - some of which you can see in the blip...

My kind of a day!
