Portobello People and Places

This is our garden - neglected while we have been in Qatar . The birds have loved the temporary wilderness ! I took this blip from the window as I have not ventured out today as I continue to convalesce. From a different window I watched the Queens Relay Baton pass the bottom of our road. It was a case of blink and you would have missed it! Good to be back in Scotland for its arrival from England, crossing the Tweed at Coldstream early this morning. Fortuitous that it arrived in Scotland on the occasion of HM The Queen's official birthday!
