Thunder, lightning and very heavy rain!

Today is my daughters 42 nd birthday but Aus is a long way to go for a birthday party so we had to make do with Skype instead. She's been to have lunch at the Gosford Art Gallery with a friend (one of my favourite places along the coast) and was ready to take herself and her cold off to bed after we spoke. The nearest we got to Aus today was the rain - it swamped everything for a good few minutes and the lightning flashed and thunder crashed.

A paperwork day today - so boring and I was going to plant the tomatoes and go and plant the courgettes - maybe tomorrow. And I've got some runner beans coming through. They might not be too late after all!
