Orchid Hunt

We walked the footpath at the side of Pye-Flatt Meadow this afternoon after our family visit to Cannon Hall. The orchids are coming on very nicely at the moment and there were plenty of them in evidence without leaving the path. Overall the meadow is jewelled with different coloured flowers. Thanks to G Danny Clarke for his work to restore this meadow. Hopefully we can arrange a visit before the orchids are over that will allow us to see more of the meadow.
