Gran and Eve.

This morning we pottered about enjoying the sunshine before we went down to look after Euan & Eve while Ali went to work.
Great fun all round and Eve entertained us as usual parading around with her hat and handbag. We took Euan off to nursery school and back in light rain but it did get a lot heavier and there was even a rumble of distant thunder.
Later, Ali back from work and Euan home from nursery school, while on the road home we spotted a column of thick smoke and even flames. Found our usual road home closed by the police and fire engines attending what looked to be quite a serious incident. The detour homewards gave no further clues so I guess I will just have to wait and check the local newspaper later in the week. Quite a scary sight all the same!
