Going home

This is Annie on her way home. I know she's named Annie because her owner (who had 3 very ebullient dogs on leads) was calling to her. Annie seemed to prefer to remain with me - I thought. In the end, though she did trot forward.

Back at the car, I apologised to her owner. But apparently I'd misinterpreted. Since Annie got older she's taken to bringing up the rear and would actually have preferred to follow me too. What funny little characters animals can be..
