Wilton nymph
Went to see my daughter in Salisbury today. We had lunch in the sunshine (very good fish and chips, yes, I know, how bad), then drove over to the little village of Netherhampton, and on to the glorious gardens of Wilton House. This particularly fetching nymph lives with the pleached limes, fountain, box hedges and standard roses in the formal garden at the front of the house, but we also wandered along the River Nadder, where kids were splashing about, and through woodland walks, Japanese Garden, rose garden and back to the Palladian bridge. One of those days that remind you what life should be.
Hope your Sunday was equally good - days off are so precious xx
