Yes, that's me - lost in dreams in a world full of shadows!

I am sat on the settee posting this really late and a massive moon is staring through the window at me. As it's half midnight, I could get today's blip picture out of the way really early while posting yesterday's. I can't go outside in the moonlit night though as I am a chicken and the monster living in the bushes might jump out and eat me. Hmmmm. Not much of a feast though. I am a toothpick.

It rained torrentially most of Friday night and rained all of Saturday morning only stopping when I was halfway to Stratford. I had a bit of a wander around and got suet cakes and mealworms as usual and also had a stroll round the market at Rother Street. I'd taken a few starling pictures earlier for a change but imagine my delight when I saw these?

You give a donation to charity and then you could stroke the owls or take pictures. Such beautiful creatures! A little child gave the owl on the left a cuddle. The owl was very laid back about the whole business and merely blinked slowly. It was starting to get crowded at that stage so I couldn't catch all three owls.

Go large!

I met Frank in The Garrick soon after and we did our usual and put the world to rights over a few pints of Abbot Ale.

I then journeyed back to Brum for an Indian takeaway while watching the final of Britain's Got Talent.
