House-hunting in the heat

Air-conditioned sleep.
Hot again today.

House-hunting this morning.
Saw one place we both really liked.
Unfortunately so did about 20 other people at the half-hour inspection.
Not going to auction for another month or so.
A bit of organising to do in the next few weeks to work out how much the bank will lend us before the hunting really gets serious.

Otherwise quite a productive day - washed clothes and dishes, cleaned kitchen, went to the market (fish tagine tonight), went laptop hunting (mine is frequently doing the blue screen of death now - completely worn out after three years of abuse. Am looking at switching to a Mac.) and finished watching 'In Bruges', which I didn't have the stamina to finish last night. Very funny - worth a look.

Getting warm in the study. J is listening to Mumford and Sons in the cool of the living room. Going to head back out there and take advantage of the fact that it's beer o'clock.
